On April 2nd, The Volleyball Academy held the 4th annual 2022 Collegiate Volleyball Challenge. Schools such as Morningside, Bellevue University, Creighton, UNO, UNK, Concordia and K-State were in attendance. Teams played against each other in friendly matches and had support from fans surrounding them.

River City Jrs. Volleyball hosted the teams. Each team was given a college and helped them throughout the day by filling up water bottles, getting ice and cheering them on. It was a great opportunity for the RCJRS players to get some exposure to different schools and some helpful inside tips.

Being up close to the teams helped the younger girls in so many different ways. They saw how the college teams treat each other and how their energy affects their teammates. They all worked so hard even though it wasn’t a “real” game. Overall, it was a great experience to get to know the players and watch some great volleyball. 

Look out for these teams next year and get ready for some great volleyball!
