The Week Ahead: Week of November 26

Take a look at what Mercy’s calendar has on it for the first week back from Thanksgiving break! Mark you calendars and plan ahead for all of these fun activities.

Monday November 26

Clubs meeting after school are Show Choir, Pro-Life Club, Walking Club and Math Club.
The Varsity basketball team has a Jamboree at Conestoga starting at 4:30pm. They will be competing against Nebraska City Lourdes and Conestoga. It is the team’s first game of the season. Go Monarchs!

Tuesday November 27

A priest will conduct a school ring blessing in the Chapel at 7:15am. The rings are decorated with the school emblem and are a perfect token of your years spent at Mercy.
Clubs meeting after school are Yearbook and Speech Team.

Wednesday November 28

There is a late start for a faculty meeting. At 7:30am in the Dining Hall, the seniors will be measured for their caps and gowns for graduation. They will also have the chance to place their order for announcements and receive other graduation information.
FBLA will be selling bagels during this time for $2 per bagel.
Clubs meeting after school are Student Council, Louder Than a Bomb, and Walking Club.

Thursday November 29

The Art students will take a field trip to Hot Shops. Have fun!
Clubs meeting after school are Pastoral Council and Art Club
The Freshman basketball team plays at Skutt Catholic at 6:00pm. Go Monarchs! The JV and Varsity basketball teams play at Blair at 6:00 and 7:30pm. Good luck to all players!

Friday November 30

The Monarch Speech Team competes at the Bellevue West Novice. You got it girls!
Clubs meeting after school are Divina and Golden Girl.

Saturday December 1

The Speech Team competes at Papillon La Vista South.
Varsity Swimming competes at the Beatrice Invitational at 8:00am.
The Freshman basketball team plays at mercy against Bennington at 11:00am.
The JV/Varsity basketball teams play against Plattsmouth at Mercy at 1:00/2:30pm
