Take a look at what this week has in store and plan ahead. The week of November 4th is a very busy week at Mercy High School!
Sunday November 4
From 12:30-3pm, the school will be open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who wish to come take a look around. During Open House, prospective students have the chance to speak to the teachers, learn more about negotiated tuition, and take a tour led by a Student Ambassador.
Monday November 5
South Dakota State University is visiting at 8:00am.
The Juniors will be gone from 7:40am-2:30pm on a Church Field Trip.
Show Choir rehearses from 3:05-5:30pm and Walking Club and Math Club also meet after school.
Tuesday November 6
A lunch with all of the classes of the 1960s will take place. This is an amazing event for old high school friends to reconnect. Alumnae for more than 40 years, this lunch will allow for the ladies to keep up to date in each other’s lives.
In the evening, Mercy’s Catherine McAuley chapter of National Honors Society will induct their new members at 7:00pm in Franey Hall. There will be guest speakers, a candle lighting, and current NHS members dressed in blue robes.
Wednesday November 7
There is a free dress down day.
Classes will begin at 8:55 and follow a Late Start Schedule to provide time for the faculty to have a morning meeting. FBLA will sell bagels in the Dining Hall in the morning before first period. It is $2 per bagel.
After school is the food sale pick-up. The students who sold food will either have their customers come pick up the food or they can pick it up for them and deliver it later.
Thursday November 8
Clubs meeting after school are Pastoral Council, Art Club and Green Thumb Club.
Friday November 9
Bring $2 to dress down and support the Mercy Service Immersion Program!
Divina and Golden Girls are meeting after school.
Saturday November 10
There is a prayer circle at 9:15am in the Chapel.
