Makayla Kennedy is a freshman this year and has had an exciting first week of school. I got to sit down with her at lunch on Thursday and ask her questions about her experience so far.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Mercy so far?

A: “I really like that everyone is so nice and no matter what you can ask literally anyone in the hallway and they will help you out.”

Q: What activities have you joined or do you plan to join?

A: “I want to join anything art related and I am really into softball.”

Q: How is Mercy different than the school you went to last year?

A: “I don’t have to worry about what I look like at all. It’s a ton of stress off my shoulders.”

Q: What teacher do you think is the silliest?

A: “Ms. Newville! Her class is so fun and exciting and she always keeps it interesting.”
