I interviewed my dad on January 17th about Mercy because I wanted to know more about Mercy in a parent’s eyes. Here is what he had to say:
Q: What Is your favorite part of Mercy so far?
A: I️ like how they keep parents informed and we have a open line of communication.
Q: How does it feel knowing that your daughter goes to a school with no boys?
A: I️ love it, I️ like the fact that you can focus on your education and the fact that you have a uniform so you don’t focus so much on co-ed socialization.
Q: What are your feelings about your child’s homework load?
A: I don’t like it; It’s pretty heavy but I’m happy she’s able to deal with it.
Q: What do you feel is most influential about your daughter’s Mercy education?
A: The level of excellence that is expected through the school. It influences her and really pushes her and motivates her to get things done.
Q: Even if Mercy wasn’t your first choice for your daughter, do you feel as though it is the right choice?
A: Mercy Is home and now that we are there, I am a Mercy parent and I love it.
For my first interview for mercymonarchs.org, it was definitely interesting!
