Mercy Clubs

Dr. Seuss said, “You’ll never be bored when you try something new. There’s really no limit to what you can do.” This is such a fitting quote for student involvement at Mercy High School. There are over twenty clubs that await the person who is eager to try something new. Joining a club is one of the best ways to become closer to your classmates and to make new friends. Emilee Baker, the vice president of Golden Girls says, “My advice for every freshman and Mercy student is to join as many clubs as possible. Joining clubs helps you get more involved in the Mercy community, and it will help you make friends!” Club involvement requires a commitment of time, but will definitely be worth it in the long run. If you ask any Mercy girl who is active in a club, she will say she enjoys being a part of it and being able to spend time with friends. Jordan Fett, who is involved in many clubs at Mercy states, “Clubs like Student Council and Operation Others have helped me to make new friendships and meet new people. The clubs I have been involved in at Mercy have helped me to create some of my best memories and have been my favorite part of high school.” Are you looking to try something new? Take the advice of Dr. Seuss and know that joining a club will only enrich your Mercy experience. There’s really no limit to what you can do!
